释义	嘉义保卫战 1895年(光绪二十一年)10月，日军侵犯台湾南部重镇嘉义，守将王德标与徐骧在城外营地埋下大量地雷，弃营进城。10月8日半夜日军侵占营房，被炸死炸伤七百余人。9日，日军疯狂炮击，轰塌嘉义城门，蜂拥而入，守军奋起巷战，总兵柏正才及林义成、林崑冈等英勇战死。因众寡悬殊，嘉义陷落。
