诗文	谭廷襄
释义	谭廷襄浙江山阴(今绍兴)人。字竹厓。道光进士。曾任侍郎、巡抚。1858年(咸丰八年)授直隶总督。同年5月英法联军侵犯大沽时，不作战守，力主议和。大沽炮台陷落后，被革职遣戍。旋释归。1861年任山东巡抚，镇压捻军、宋景诗等农民起义。1866年(同治五年)署湖广总督，次年回京。1868年授刑部尚书。后死于任。
