诗文	薛南溟
释义	薛南溟江苏无锡人。薛福成之子。娶盛宣怀之妹为妻。祖业有庄田四万亩，当铺七家。曾任永泰洋行买办。1896年(光绪二十二年)在上海与周舜卿合办永泰丝厂。1909年(宣统元年)在无锡购入锦记丝厂。1918年又创设永盛丝厂。另有茧行十几处。后总计拥有丝厂十八家。
