求全之毁qiú quán zhī huǐget blame (/reproach)while seeking perfection
❍ 有不虞之誉，有～。(《孟子·离娄上》) There are cases of praise which could not be expected,and of reproach when the parties have been seeking to be perfect.
❍ 既熟惯，便更觉亲密；既亲密，便不免有些不虞之隙，～。(《红楼梦》52)…and being closer had grown more intimate; but precisely because of this he sometimes offended her by being too demanding and thoughtfulness. |
